Carlsen victorious at Kings!

The 4th Kings tournament (Category 20) took place in Medias, Romania, from June 14th until June 25th 2010. Magnus Carlsen won the tournament finishing with an impressive 2 points difference ahead of Radjabov and Gelfand and remaining invincible through out the tournament.

Participants (6): Magnus Carlsen (NOR 2813), Wang Yue (CHN 2752), Boris Gelfand (ISR 2741), Teimour Radjabov (AZE 2740), Ruslan Ponomariov (UKR 2733), Liviu-Dieter Nisipeanu (ROU 2672).

Ivanchuk wins Capablanca Memorial for the fourth time!

The 45th Capablanca Memorial took place in Havana, Cuba from the 9th till the 22nd of June 2010.

Participants of the "Elite Group": Vassily Ivanchuk, who won the event three times in a row (2005-2007), Evgeny Alekseev, Ian Nepomniachtchi, Nigel Short, Leinier Dominguez and Lazaro Bruzon.
